Recently, the Graded evaluation specification of EV supercharging equipment (hereinafter as the “Evaluation specification”) and the Design specification for centralized public EV charging stations (hereinafter as the “Design specification”) jointly developed by the Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and Shenzhen Administration for Market Regulation have been officially released. As one of the drafting units, Anche participates in the development of these two standards.
This is the first local standard for the classified evaluation of supercharging equipment and the design of supercharging stations released nationwide. The standard not only defines terms e.g. supercharging equipment and fully liquid cooled supercharging equipment, but also takes the lead in establishing a classified evaluation index system for various technical indicators e.g. supercharging equipment charging services. Specific specifications have been set up for the site selection of centralized public EV charging stations, charging station layout, and power quality requirements. These two supercharging standards will be implemented from April 1.
The Evaluation specification takes the lead in establishing a classified evaluation index system for various technical indicators e.g. charging service capacity, noise, efficiency, and protection level of supercharging equipment. It comprehensively evaluates the five dimensions, i.e. experience, energy efficiency, reliability, maintainability, and information security, which is conducive to guiding enterprises to scientifically select supercharging equipment, build high-quality supercharging facilities, and improve operational management level.
At the same time, the Evaluation specification defines supercharging devices as specialized devices that are fixedly connected to AC or DC power supply, convert their electrical energy into DC electrical energy, provide electrical energy to electric vehicles through vehicle conduction charging, and have at least one vehicle plug with a rated power of no less than 480kW; the fully liquid cooled supercharging device is defined as a supercharging device that uses liquid cooling technology for charging power conversion units, vehicle plugs, and charging cables.
Specifications have been established in the Design specification for the site selection, layout, and power quality requirements of centralized public EV charging stations. In parallel, it is also proposed that charging facility signage should use specialized and unified supercharging signage throughout the city.
Shenzhen is building itself into a supercharging city and accelerating the construction of a global digital energy pioneer city. The supercharging standards will not only provide guidance for the high-quality construction of centralized public charging stations and supercharging stations in Shenzhen, but also further promote the standardization process of the entire industry. In the future, Anche will continue to deepen its expertise in the field of charging and battery swapping, and actively participate in the development of relevant standards based on its professional advantages, contributing its professional strength to the healthy development of the new energy industry.
